These organisations rely on donations from charitable entities for their funds. Furthermore, they also rely on volunteer workers, comprising mostly of students, in the construction of the homes. Most of these workers are even unskilled in matters of construction. However, there are also skilled workers and professionals who offer their expertise without charge. With these organisations, society is ensured that even the poor will have the opportunity to have a secured shelter.
